Sweepstakes must include warning inserts, AGs urge

Article Abstract:

The National Assn of Attorneys General has proposed that sweepstakes mailings should include fact sheets that would include warnings about the chance of the participants in winning the prizes. The insert would say the following:"You have not won. Enter for free. Enter as often as you like. Buying won't help you win." The fact sheet is one of the recommendations by the 16-member task force that conducted a public hearing on sweepstakes and promotions.
