New Colony Village: an upscale community

Article Abstract:

The concept of New Colony Village in Maryland was developed to meet the specific needs of the budget-conscious market comprised of single parents. The 52-acre site, which is situated some 8 miles from Baltimore Airport, is composed of two-story houses and bungalows with colonial designs. The firm offers single-family detached homes which are more affordable than competitors' models. A 3-bedroom, 2 1/2 bathroom house in the village sells for about $130,990 compared to $190,000 for homes in Howard County.

Article Abstract:

Industry experts believe the fate of real estate industry in the new millenium would significantly depend on the efficiency of members to adapt with market changes and willingness to absorb new technology. Competitive edge in the future may also be acquired through the help of land or home offerings and other community development projects. Analysts further claim that the trend towards vertical integration would ensue for some time, with manufactured housing being bolstered by subdivision developers.
