Project review

Article Abstract:

The author examines Sun Microsystems' new United Kingdom headquarters in Camberley, Surrey, which was designed to emulate the culture of the California based corporation. The architectural design of five three-storied buildings with flexible office space, which surround landscaping, cost control and procurement, cost analysis of elements, and the structural design that utilizes the parallel-beam system with column-free spaces of the project were explored.
