Simply the best

Article Abstract:

Estridge Homes Executive Vice-President Charlie Scott points out although the firm often wins customers from personal recommendations they also need to market homes through their website or the press. The US house building company employs 140 workers. The company works closely with buyers whilst their homes are being built. Many sales come from the firm being recommended by past customers. Customer care is given a high priority. Almost $100 million in turnover was made from properties sold to referrals. The company was awarded the US National Housing Quality Award in Nov 1999.

Refurbishment of Old Kent Road parade

Article Abstract:

UK developer First Premise concentrates on developing mixed-use sites in the less sought after areas of London. In its schemes of urban regeneration it looks for profit in the fifth year. In the summer of 1996 it finished refurbishment of 14 shops with 28 flats above in the Old Kent Road. The scheme took over ten years to develop because of problems in obtaining private finance to go with the City Grant and because of economic changes altering the market. However, the end result of small shops and one-bed flats, both available to rent, has proved marketable.
