Article Abstract:

This article describes design requirements for the Greater London Authority debating chamber, and how those requirements were fulfilled. A new acoustic visualization computer program was used to model the way sound behaved in the chamber and continued to modify the geometry until sounds reached the listener in 50 milliseconds.
