Surveyors enjoy 8-9% earnings rise

Article Abstract:

Quantity surveyors working in London, England, have received pay rises of 8% to 9% since late 1995, according to a survey by leading companies. However, pay rises have not been as high as some companies had anticipated, and there have been only a few instances of headhunting. The average salary for a salaried partner at a leading quantity surveying firm in the city is now 40,000 pounds sterling to 45,000 pounds sterling a year, with an associate partner earning between 30,000 pounds sterling and 35,000 pounds sterling a year.
