Article Abstract:

The Nike Group has designed and built a 18 million pounds sterling alpine hotel, the Coppid Beech Hotel at Bracknell, UK. It opened in Christmas 1992 and took 2 years to build. It has 205 beds. The design and internal furnishing are usual. The floor plan is Y-shaped and all plant and ductwork is hidden underground or on the roofs. The core walls on each floor are created by huge fish tanks which contain 3 tonnes of water costing 250,000 pounds sterling inclusive of maintenance.
