There really is a simple fix and its called biodiesel fuel

Article Abstract:

The disadvantages of using diesel-powered engines and the benefits of replacing its use by alternative energy sources like the biodiesel, for the marine industry, are presented. Biodiesel not only reduces wear and tear of engine parts but is also an environmental friendly fuel.
