UPS unit to offer BTB e-billing service

Article Abstract:

UPS Capital Corp, a division of United Parcel Service Inc, has formed an alliance with Bottomline Technologies Inc and Princeton eCom that will allow UPS Capital to offer electronic bill presentment and payment services. The service will enable UPS Capital to control the flow of money between buyers and sellers. Its focus is on the high-volume business-to- business market instead of the business-to-consumer market.

Postal service launches Spanish-language site

Article Abstract:

The US Postal Service (USPS) unveiled the Spanish-language version of its website at the fall 2000 National Postal Forum as part of its 2001 integrated multicultural marketing campaign. The Internet site found at www.usps.com/correo includes postal news and information about package services, special services and money-transfer services. The site also features a frequently-asked-questions section and online consumer survey to give feedback to the USPS.

USPS alters Mexico service, partners with Canada Post

Article Abstract:

The US Postal Service is changing its Global Direct-Mexico service to better reflect the domestic postal products being provided by the Mexico Postal Administration. Another objective is to offer a wider range of direct entry products into Mexico to its US customers. The three main services of Global Direct-Mexico are Global Direct-Mexico Letter mail for personalized communications, transactions and corresponce; Global Direct- Mexico Publicatios for periodicals and magazines; and Global Direct-Mexico Direct Mail.
