Unholey alliance

Article Abstract:

It is important to ensure that processes drive technology requirements, rather than the other way round, according to Matthew Bacon, head of design technology at airports operator BAA. He is representing the company on the Client Briefing Committee, one of seven 'domain groups' within the UK chapter of the International Alliance for Interoperability (IAI). He believes that there are links between BAA's aims and those of IAI, especially in terms of achieving a seamless flow of information.
