P PC Connection unveils customized business account pages

Article Abstract:

PC Connection Inc launched the Internet Business Accounts service, which enables corporate, education and government customers to transact through personalized Web sites. The system builds password-protected e-commerce accounts for products purchase, order-status information and multiple-item order for later processing. The PC marketer intends to expand the service to include customized pricing depending on the volume.

Stock photography supplier SuperStock of Jacksonville, FL, has launched a business-to-business marketing campaign with the theme 'Art without tears.' The direct mail campaign has enjoyed a strong response from target graphics artists and designers, who were attracted by SuperStock's offer of fine art images for reproduction. The Art Images collection can be used by advertising agencies, design companies and publishers.

Microworkz sets price floor for PCs

Microworkz Computer Corp, a Seattle, WA-based maker and direct marketer of computers and peripherals, is aiming at low-income families and schools with its new line of low-priced personal computers. The WEBzter series will retail for as low as $299 and will include one year of free Internet access. The company intends to sell the machines on its web site (www.microworkz.com) beginning late Mar 1999.
