WPP's Millward Brown merges with DRI

Article Abstract:

The WPP Group intends to buy Los Angeles, CA-based advertising research firm Diagnostics Research International and merge it with its wholly-owned subsidiary Millward Brown. The merger will make Millward Brown, based in Napierville, IL, the biggest advertising copy testing firm in the US. Observers say the combination is an ideal marriage for Millward Brown counts several Fortune 500 companies among its clients.
