Winchester shoots for more retail traffic

Article Abstract:

Winchester Ammunition, an ammunition manufacturer, is scheduled to introduce a redesigned Web site at www.winchester.com on the week covering June 22, 1998 to establish a database and increase traffic to local retailers. Consumers who will visit Winchester Ammunition's redesigned Web site will be requested to indicate their e-mail addresses, home addresses, demographics and information about the kind of hunting or shooting they are engaged with. Winchester Ammunition, in turn, will supply them with technical information on types of ammunitions and reload information and directions to the nearest local retailers of the specified products.
