Working in oils

Article Abstract:

Petrochemicals companies operating in the UK have been involved in partnering with designers and contractors for some time. This is now evolving into 'alliancing,' in which an extremely close project team is created and acts like a single company. A very strong emphasis on safety in the petrochemicals industry sometimes causes problems for contractors, especially if they cannot find high quality staff. This has been the experience of contractor Trent Engineering, which undertakes maintenance and stand-alone work for around six main clients.
