Taking a raincheck

Article Abstract:

Leaks are a problem for the construction industry when they occur in buildings that have recently been finished. They may only be visible after completion, and the source of water may not be easy to find. Flashings, guttering and seals may cause problems rather than roofs themselves. Leaks should be monitored in order to discover the conditions that give rise to theme. The building should also be surveyed for damp areas and leakage paths.
