Article Abstract:
Hannover CeBIT 98, held between March 19-23 1998, attracted 670,000 visitors, representing an increase of 11% on 1997, with 7,250 exhibitors, of which 285 were from the UK. 'Centric' and 'Internet' were the buzz words for the 1998 event, with Sharp launching the MCGI handheld 'voice and message centric' personal mobile communicator; and other exhibitors displaying a variety of faxes with Internet option. An overview of the CeBIT event is given.

Nest leaving in Sweden: The importance of early educational and labor market careers
Article Abstract:
The importance of the early educational and labor market career for nest leaving and returning to the parental home is investigated based on individual life course data for the whole Swedish cohort born in 1973. Employment means a high probability of nest leaving and stability, and university studies means a high likelihood of nest leaving but less stability.
