Article Abstract:

The Ricoh Fax 880MP plain-paper fax machine is due to be launched in the UK in November 1995. It will offer a colour-printing interface as standard and has a 28-page, multi-file memory. The machine, with a paper capacity of 250 sheets, is compatible with Laserfax software and it can be used as a PC-fax and scanner. Other plain-paper fax machines due to be launched on the market are evaluated.

Article Abstract:

A number of fax, printer and photocopier machines are evaluated. The Muratec F95, costing 995 pounds sterling, is designed for business departments and includes a 14,400 bps modem, 32-page standard memory and standard personal computer interface. The Canon Fax L800 machine costs 2,495 pounds sterling and is suited for use in a busy office environment.
