International calls

Article Abstract:

A number of companies provide overseas telephone services, typically ranging from 0.50 pounds sterling, through Swiftcall, for five minutes, to 6.10 pounds sterling, using a British Telecom (BT) payphone, to the US. At one time BT had a monopoly, but competition came when the government licensed Mercury Communications, and international resellers (ISRs) have now joined the market. It would only be worthwhile setting up an account with an ISR for people who regularly make international calls.
