Looking after your teeth

Article Abstract:

Teeth care requires regular brushing with a fluoride toothpaste, regular dental check ups and control of sugar intake. It is not easy to find a dentist willing to take on new NHS patients, and many people now have to pay private dental rates. Around 110 million pounds sterling a year is spent on toothbrushes and 200 million pounds sterling on toothpastes. A range of toothpastes and brushes are evaluated for effectiveness and value for money. Generally the toothbrushes with fewer features were given the highest value for money ratings by experts.

Looking for life cover

Article Abstract:

There are now some very attractive life insurance deals available in the UK. Many insurance companies have reduced their premiums recently, and it is possible to save money by moving to a different insurer. Before purchasing a policy, it is important to ask the financial adviser how much commission he or she will gain from selling it. It is also necessary to ensure that the adviser has provided a 'key features' document if a whole-life or an endowment policy is being purchased.

Looking after your lawn

Article Abstract:

Anyone can make the most of their lawn by taking care of it properly. After winter, the lawn must be cut with the lawnmower at a high setting. Some lawns need to be aerated, which involves making holes in the turf with a garden fork. Once the condition of the lawn has improved, the gardener should continue mowing it and introduce lawn feed.
