Pay less for house insurance

Article Abstract:

Customers can keep down the cost of their house buildings and contents insurance by shopping around and making sure that they do not pay for more cover than they need. Customers should compare costs for sum insured and bedroom-rated policies and consider policies with a voluntary excess. The discounts on standard policies offered by some insurance companies in special cases and the availability of policies for specific groups can also help keep down the cost of house insurance.
