Shake the salt

Article Abstract:

The daily salt intakes have risen steadily and it is believed that reducing average intakes to 6g a day would prevent 35,000 deaths from heart disease and stroke in the UK every year. Some of the harmful effects of the excessive salt intake are discussed and tips are suggested on how to cut down on it to control the risk of osteoporosis, stomach cancer and high blood pressure.
