Small crash - big bill?

Article Abstract:

Twenty-four cars available in Australia were tested for their ability to survive low-speed crashes without needing expensive repairs. The Daewoo Lanis was the cheapest to repair in the small car category. The least expensive in the small-medium, medium and large categories were the Honda Civic GLi, the Toyota Camry CSi and the Ford Falcon Forte, respectively.

Saving money on long-distance phone bills

Article Abstract:

Prices for long-distance service in Australia are complex and difficult to compare. An analysis of the bills of three consumers found price differences as high as 80% between the most expensive and cheapest phone companies. Tracking calling patterns is the first step in comparing rates to find a plan that will cut phone bills.

All in a lather

Article Abstract:

It generally does not matter what type of soap one uses, unless one has sensitive or problem skin. Specialized soap products such as antibacterial or moisturizing soap are only slightly more effective than regular soap. Using cream moisturizer after washing with mild soap is the best treatment for dry skin.
