Tax on your fringe benefits

Article Abstract:

The UK Inland Revenue has varying approaches to fringe benefits. Some are always taxable, while others have a different taxable value according to the employee's particular circumstances. Company directors will always pay tax on benefits in kind, unless certain conditions apply, while some employees are eligible for tax-free benefits if they earn less than 8,500 pounds sterling a year. There are special rules for valuing loans of items and money.

The unseen Ali

Article Abstract:

Dreams have always been at the heart of the character of boxer Muhammad Ali, who retained a deep sense of destiny throughout his controversial career. There was always more to him than the stage act he presented to the world, and many people, even those who had no real interest in boxing, had great respect for him. The complex nature of his personality was clearly displayed in his fight against George Foreman in Zaire in Oct 1974.
