Travelling around Britain

Article Abstract:

Travelling from London to Edinburgh by various modes of transportation is a good way of comparing associated costs and comforts. The journey is most expensive by plane, but is quicker than travelling by train, car or coach. The train journey ranks next in both speed and cost, while the journey by coach and car is almost equal in time and cost. Plane, train and coach operators all have procedures for dealing with customer complaints, but travel agents often give misleading information about routes and fares.
