FRANCE: LINPAC PLASTICS INVESTS FFR 10MN

Article Abstract:

Linpac Plastics Pontivy has completed a FFr 10mn investment program over ten years to air condition its 12 production lines for plastic film for food. This investment will provide greater film hygiene and safety. The company produces 35,000 tonnes, including 26,400 tonnes of polyvinyl chloride, 6,000 tonnes of polyolefine, and 2,800 tonnes of barrier films. This increased quality in films produced by Linpac Plastics is also expected to strengthen the company's image with its clients, since the food industry is increasingly concerned about safety and hygiene. Linpac Plastics made a turnover of FFr 512mn in 1998.
