An experimental study of a dynamic principal-agent relationship

Article Abstract:

Research was conducted to study the dynamic principal-agent relationship, with emphasis on the association between managers and owners in modern corporations. The principal-agent scenario was characterized by problems associated with principal agent relations. These include contract design, multiple periods, stochastic results and linear reward schemes. Results indicated the importance of trust and reciprocity of behavior in principal-agent relationships.
