An experiment on the pure theory of consumer's behavior

Article Abstract:

An analysis of the practical applications of consumer behavior theories reveals that practical applications of revealed preference cannot be fully implemented as problems abound. Moreover, the study also shows that most consumers violated revealed preference axioms when the axioms were tested in real consumption of goods. The empirical validity of the neoclassical theory of consumer behavior is good but applications pose problems which thus translates to difficulties in practical testing.

Unions and efficient training

Article Abstract:

A positive relationship exists between trade union bargaining and training investment. The creation of a trade union bargaining at a corporate level enhances social welfare by neutralizing the ex post monopsonistic power of a company in determining wages. The number of trainees roughly achieves a social optimum condition since trade union bargaining promotes the establishment of a high post-training wage.

A laboratory study of group polarisation in the team dictator game

Article Abstract:

An analysis of social dynamics in group decision differences reveals that team choices tend to be dominated by other-regarding members in the context of members making individual choices first before making the team decision. The study studies the persuasive argument theory and the social comparison theory and results derived are more consistent with the social comparison theory that with the other.
