Kissinger Rides Again

Article Abstract:

The recommendations of the January 11, 1984 Kissinger Commission report concerning United States foreign policy are reviewed. The administration did not agree with the El Salvador proposals. The long-term economic proposals were well received. The commission recommends formation of a new body for dispensing economic aid, the Central American Development Organization (CADO).

Zhao and Reagan Sup with Shortened Spoons

In January 1984 United States President Reagan met with Chinese Prime Minister Zhao Zitang. The visit was positive. Issues included foreign policy, Korea and trade.
