The current trade policy of the United States towards Latin America fluctuates since it is greatly influenced by the political climate, business interests, and established perceptions and concerns related to the region. The trade policy ranges from a strong desire to penetrate a fast growing market to a feeling of apprehension of establishing a stable trade presence to an unstable region.
