Article Abstract:

The concept of strategic cooperation between Israel and the United States has at last had some results. A joint political-military committee to coordinate military planning, joint maneuvers and stockpiling of equipment will be formed. It is hoped that this will help the United States in Lebanon.

In November 1983, six Israeli soldiers were exchanged for 4,600 Palestinians. Many factors had to be taken into consideration about the prisoner exchange, but Israeli soldiers count on being rescued. The Palestine movement is in disarray and Israel must be careful in its actions.
