Article Abstract:

Portable toilets are available to meet a variety of specifications. Relocatable toilets are cheaper than built facilities where mains drainage is available. Recirculating units are available for sites without mains drainage and are economical with water. Plastic toilets with waste-holding units are appropriate for short-term use. However, planning permission may be necessary for facilities of more than 28 days duration.
