The problems in developing transborder cooperation between Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan are listed. Suggestions for eliminating these problems are presented. Various socioeconomic problems like energy conservation, environmental protection, water supply, etc., can be solved effectively by developing transborder cooperation between Russian Federation and the Republic of Kazakhstan.
