Reciprocity in a two-part dictator game
Article Abstract:
The results of an experiment conducted using a simple design to achieve evidence about the strength and pervasiveness of the impulse towards reciprocity and the roles of experience, intelligence and personality in influencing its expression are provided. Results suggest the evidence for a weak tendency to emulate the behavior of a third party (generalized reciprocity) but only in relationship to certain socialization variables.
