Russia's exchange rate policy and foreign trade performance

Article Abstract:

The exchange rate policy has a significant role to play on foreign trade not only through the exchange rate used by the central bank but also through rules for foreign exchange management. It is suggested that Russia is to be made more attractive to foreign investors at both the micro and macro levels and this will be achieved only by a wholly new set of structural policy measures.
