Self assembly furniture

Article Abstract:

Sales of self assembly furniture in the UK rose by 5% in the period 1990-1994 to 1.16 billion pounds sterling, although in real terms were down by 5%. The market has been affected by the recession, although positive effects have been felt from growing consumer demand for value for money. This has led to living room, dining room and occasional furniture taking a slightly larger share of the market. Sales are predicted to grow, as long as quality and value for money expectations are met.
