State participation in the management of corporate structures in Russia

Article Abstract:

This article examines the mixed forms of government ownership in the Russian economy during the 1990s era of market reforms,and which occurred largely through the governmenet's ownership of controlling shares in joint-stock companies in various industries. Issues include the 1992-1995 regulatory and statutory base and management of companies with mixed capital, innovations in state policy regarding the management of mixed companies in 1996-1998, problems of enterprises with mixed forms of ownership and possible approaches to solving these problems.

The economic inequality of the population of Russia in the 1990s: more and more poor, fewer and fewer rich

Article Abstract:

This article discusses the post-communist economic inequalities in Russia during the 1990s, which has lead to increased stratification, restructuring of the economy, the growth of the private sector from the redistribution of public property, the appearance of unemployment, and the decrease in subsidies for social purposes. The authors explore population distribution by economic strata, outlines the economic startification including the correlation of rich and poor, and differentiation among economic strata.

Opportunities to improve the pension system

Article Abstract:

This article discusses the social problems posed by the need to provide pensions for the elderly in Russia during the crises years of the 1990s. Issues include the reductionin pension size compared to the magnitude of the minimum subsistence level, delays in pension payments, and the elimination of differentiation in the size of payments.
