Using technology to disseminate a best practices data base

Article Abstract:

The Center for Rural Revitalization and Learning (C-Rural) at Idaho State University has developed a rural benchmarking method which applies the principles of business benchmarking to the identification of success factors, or best practices, in rural revitalization. After identifying these community best practices, they should be disseminated so that they may be applied in other rural areas. The C-Rural is coordinating with the Idaho Rural Development Council to set up an information service for that purpose.
