A 2 + 2 curriculum where everyone wins

Article Abstract:

Texas' Paris Independent School District and Paris Junior College have jointly created a four-year, competency-based, articulated nursing curriculum designed to avoid repetition of students' learning experience. The 2 + 2 program is guided by agreements between secondary and postsecondary schools to recognize each other's curriculum. The project has been advantageous to students who intend to practice their profession following high school graduation due to its focus on present-day competencies.
