Bad times ahead for Bad X

Article Abstract:

Germany needs to improve the management of its cultural resources at a time when public expenditure is being cut and thousands of graduates are adding to the unemployment figures. Baden-Wurttemberg, Germany, is notable for failing to exploit the cultural potential of its heritage. Germany has the academic resources to manage cultural tourism but needs to co-ordinate and exploit them with regard to developing markets. Greater co-operation is needed between higher education institutes in Germany in order to ensure the maximum use of university facilities and mobilise underemployed students.

Masquerade of living dolls

Article Abstract:

Singer Kylie Minogue and glamour model Jordan both combine their sex-symbol status with huge popularity among women, but also offer the eternal pit-and-pedestal dichotomy for females. Both have built their fame on exaggerated performances of femininity, but this very trait conceals the masculine characteristics of ruthless ambition, drive and business acumen.
