The new pioneers

Article Abstract:

Immigrants in the United States, mostly Latin Americans, move to rural American towns to take up low-wage jobs and become part of the community over time. These new pioneers, who seek their future in unknown rural America, are changing the social fabric of the communities they settle in and are also becoming Americanized in turn.
