British pair bask in peers' acclaim

Article Abstract:

An analysis of a survey of the world's leading scientists in which they were asked to identify the best universities in the areas in which they are involved. The survey revealed that Cambridge University is regarded as the world's top science university, followed by Oxford University and the University of California, Berkeley. Of the top 100 institutions, 23 are in the US, while the UK and Germany each account for 11.

Oxford is just the business at top

Cambridge University leads in The Times Higher world rankings for top biomedicine university. Harvard University is ranked second, followed by Oxford University and Imperial College London.
