Union bars fail to pull punters

Article Abstract:

An increase in the number of chain pubs targeting college-aged Londoners may spell the end for London's student union bars. The fact that chain pubs offer drinks at discount prices, and that students low on cash are socializing less, are hurting the crowds at student union bars. Student union bars are hoping that discounts on pints will bring in more punters.
