Do not be shy about retiring

Article Abstract:

British postgraduates are often only employed on a full-time basis after they have completed their lengthy studies, and many do not have pensions by the time they are 35. People who have opted out of SERPS can supplement a personal pension with SERPS contributions. The Department of Social Security office can provide an estimated Retirement Benefits Forecast. Independent financial advisors should be consulted when choosing a personal pension plan. Approximately 15-20% of earnings should be submitted for a suitably comfortable retirement pension.

A drug war we've won

Article Abstract:

Rampant drug abuse among military personnel was prevalent during the 1970s. After more than two decades, a sharp drop in the number of military drug abusers indicates that the military has won the battle against drugs. This victory results from a systematic and comprehensive, though very expensive drug education and testing program.
