Every reason to party on for the part-timers

Article Abstract:

An overview of the work done by the hourly paid tutors running short courses at the University of the Arts London, the appreciation that the university has for the work they do and the efforts that it is making to improve its relationships with its hourly paid and part-time staff. Sir Michael Bichard, rector of the university, notes that when he took up the post he came to the conclusion that the part-time staff were not sufficiently involved in the running of the university and he set about changing this.
