How to find the right trousers

Article Abstract:

Animation is one of the great successes of the British film industry but British animators must achieve the right balance between innovation and tradition if they are to keep winning Oscars. Animation now accounts for 25% of the audiovisual market, according to a study commissioned by MIFED (Market International Film and Documentary) in Milan, Italy. Britain is considered the best in terms of quality and skills. However it needs to develop new skills and prevent talented computer animators from taking jobs in the US which, with Japan, now dominates computer animation.

Far right spreads racism in France

Article Abstract:

Many immigrants in France find they are denied the chance of becoming integrated into the country despite the French ideal of universality. Most of the immigrants come from North Africa. Young immigrants face prejudice from the administration system. Immigrants are also much more likely to experience unemployment. Many French academics call for the wholesale integration of the descendents of immigrants and suggest they are only permitted to learn the French language. Some 15% of the French people voted for the right wing and racist political party, the National Front.

A click in the right direction

Article Abstract:

Books have advantages over computers, such as ther portability and the lack of expertise needed to use them, but they are not interactive and cannot give access to additional information in the way that a computer can. The ideal way to use both is through integrated packages. Books can be used for presenting ideas, while computers can provide additional ways to consider the ideas. Students can gain powerful learning tools from this combination.
