'Few black professors but lots of cleaners'

Article Abstract:

Uduak Archibong, newly appointed professor of diversity at Bradford University, argues that universities in the UK are institutionally racist, noting that while 20% of the population of Bradford, UK, are from ethnic minority groups, only 15.3% of the university's workforce are. Archibong's role at Bradford includes areas such as age, sexual orientation and disability, but race is a key focus of the job, with Archibong commenting that dealing with race is to deal with deep-seated and complex challenges.
