Armed for a multitude of tasks

Article Abstract:

Issues relating to the belief that the performing arts can provide students with the sort of "soft" skills coveted by business leaders are examined. It is argued that engaging with the skills that the performing arts have to offer is not about turning medics into actors, or accountants into musicians, rather it is about broadening and enhancing the skills of students, giving them the opportunity to develop their self-management, communication and entrepreneurial skills.
