Making a monkey of the left

Article Abstract:

Scientist Edward O. Wilson popularized his ideas on inherited behaviour in his 1975 book 'Sociobiology: The New Synthesis. At the time of publication Wilson's ideas where highly criticised particularly by academics who disagreed human behaviour was at all influenced by genetics. He has also been called a racist and a sexist. Wilson's views have become more accepted since the 1970s and have lead to a new field of study called evolutionary psychology. Wilson has been awarded two Pulitzer prizes and the National Medal of Science.

Keep your huddled masses

Article Abstract:

The lack of cultural integration of immigrants into their residing country concerns many people, and more research should be carried out on the children of immigrants to learn from their assimilation. Immigrant attitudes to education are extremely good, with 88% of children giving positive statements about the education system in America, as opposed to only 20% of native American students. Latin American and Asians make up 80% of immigrants in the United States.
