Article Abstract:

Some believe that the present legal interpretation of the US First Amendment is restricting the way in which some individuals can practice their religious beliefs. In an overzealous desire to maintain the separation of church and state, secular ideologies are given an advantage over religious groups.

Religious nationalism: a global threat?

Religious leaders worldwide are supporting a new thinking on secular nationalism that can encourage democracy. Although the two ideologies are diverse, an accommodation of religious nationalism will result in the achievement of international security and domestic peace.
