Study now, pay later plan will ensure a rich return

Article Abstract:

An analysis of the impact of the introduction of top-up fees on undergraduate and postgraduate students at universities across the UK. It is suggested that, in order to offset the deterrent effect that student debt could have on graduates contemplating further study, the fees of postgraduate students should be deferred until they can afford to pay them and some of the additional money generated by the top-up system should be invested in making postgraduate study a more appealing option.
